Walston-Hoover Stadium at Zimmerman Field became the home of the Knights in September 2001. In the summer of 2013, Walston-Hoover Stadium went under a multimillion-dollar renovation, which included a new FieldTurf playing surface, resurfaced track, and the installation of one of Division III’s largest video boards. The FieldTurf playing surface allows for year-round use by the football team as well as several other Wartburg athletic programs, intramurals, and various community activities. Walston-Hoover Stadium has played host to eight NCAA Football Playoff games as well as the 2005 and 2016 Division III National Track and Field Outdoor Championships.
